Vancouver, BC; Saskatoon, SK; Calgary, AB; Whitehorse, YT; Remote - Regular Full-Time\nReporting to the Director of Geosciences, the Geoscientist II is responsible for providing technical input in their area of expertise, supporting geochemical characterization and water quality studies through field and office-based work.\nAbout the Role\nDesign, conduct, and report on geochemical and water quality studies;\nManage large datasets;\nDevelop geochemical source terms for water quality models;\nConduct fieldwork at remote sites;\nProvide technical input to projects within your area(s) of expertise;\nTechnical communications, including report writing and reviewing;\nDevelop and coordinate project specific work plans and assist in proposal development;\nInterface with other technical experts to achieve multidisciplinary project goals;\nInteract and liaise with clients, government regulators, and other project stakeholders;\nManage special projects that support the broad-based needs of a rapidly expanding company;\nMentors junior staff; and\nAll other related duties as required.\nAbout You\nEducation\nBachelor’s degree in a related science (geology, chemistry, environmental science, or engineering).\nExperience\n5+ years of relevant experience in mining, mineral exploration, or environmental consulting;\nP.Geo. or P.Eng. accreditation or eligibility is an asset;\nARD/ML and geochemical characterization experience is an asset;\nFamiliarity with geochemical modelling (e.g., PHREEQC) is an asset;\nExperience using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, and/or QGIS is an asset;\nComputer skills including Microsoft Office Suite;
