As the primary owner of day-to-day HR transactions, you will manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle-from the moment\na candidate accepts an offer to their eventual offboarding.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOnboarding & Offboarding\nOffer Management:Generate, distribute, and track offer letters, ensuring all compensation, equity, and role details are accurate and compliant.\n\nPre-Employment Processing:Initiate and monitor background checks, drug screens (if applicable), and right-to-work documentation (e.g., I-9 verification).\n\nOnboarding Coordination: Partner with IT and Hiring Managers to ensure new hires have a seamless Day One experience. Facilitate HR onboarding sessions and ensure all new hire documentation is completed.\n\nOffboarding Execution: Manage voluntary and involuntary termination processes, including processing offboarding documentation, coordinating final paychecks with Payroll, calculating severance (if applicable), and ensuring the smooth transition\nof company assets.\n\nEmployee Lifecycle & Documentation\nLifecycle Transactions:Process all employment changes accurately and timely, including promotions, lateral transfers, manager changes, and compensation adjustments.\n\nRecords Management: Maintain accurate and secure electronic employee files, ensuring all required employment documentation is filed correctly and complies with data privacy regulations.\n\nAuditing & Compliance:Conduct regular audits of employee data and physical/electronic records to ensure absolute accuracy. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.\n\nOperational Support & Employee Experience\nFront-Line Support:Act as the primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries regarding HR policies, lifecycle processes, and general employment questions.\n\nProcess Improvement:Identify bottlenecks in day-to-day operations and recommend actionable improvements to streamline workflows and enhance the employee experience.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner closely with the HRIS/Tech team to escalate system errors, with Payroll to ensure data accuracy for processing, and with HR Business Partners on complex employee changes.\n\nQualifications\nExperience:3-5 years of progressive experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a similar capacity.\n\nAccuracy & Detail:Exceptional attention to detail with a proven track record of maintaining high data integrity in fast-paced environments.\n\nHR Knowledge:Strong foundational understanding of core HR principles, employee lifecycle processes, and basic employment law compliance.\n\nSystem Proficiency:Experience operating as a user/administrator within enterprise HRIS platforms (e.g., Paylocity, Workday, ADP, BambooHR) for transactional processing.\n\nCommunication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service, empathy, and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.\n\nProblem-Solving: Ability to navigate operational roadblocks independently and escalate highly complex issues to the appropriate centers of
