You will prepare a satellite flight computer for launch and contribute to the electronics and GPU compute systems that support in-orbit AI inference.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign and own the satellite flight computer, with initial focus on making it flight-ready.\n\nBuild, bring up, and debug hardware hands-on in the Los Angeles lab.\n\nWork with manufacturing partners to design electronics and compute systems for a full-scale satellite.\n\nHelp select high-speed interconnects, including NVLink and SerDes, and evaluate photonics and optical interconnects.\n\nWrite firmware and platform software for the payload as needed.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nElectrical or computer engineering degree, or equivalent experience, with 0 to 15 years of relevant engineering experience.\n\nAt least one year of experience in a high-growth, venture-backed startup or comparable zero-to-one environment.\n\nEnd-to-end custom board or system-board design experience, including schematics, high-speed PCB layout, hardware bring-up, and debugging.\n\nKnowledge of high-speed digital design and signal and power integrity fundamentals.\n\nExperience with GPUs, accelerators, SoCs, or large ASICs is valuable.\n\nExposure to photonics, optical interconnects, networking, contract manufacturers, or ODMs is beneficial.\n\nSpace, satellite, or radiation-hardened hardware experience is beneficial, as is a background combining startup work with aerospace or government contracting.\n\nEligible candidates must be U.S. citizens or Green Card holders.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary range: $120,000 to $220,000 annually.
