You will partner with product and customer teams to design, build, and deploy modern systems that improve public services.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn technical projects from initial customer conversations and solution design through implementation, launch, adoption, and ongoing maintenance.\n\nBuild and iterate on software using AI-assisted coding tools as part of your daily workflow.\n\nDevelop reusable components, data models, and workflows that support future deployments.\n\nWork directly with government stakeholders, balancing customer collaboration with hands-on engineering.\n\nTravel to client sites occasionally, approximately five days per quarter.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nOne to five years of experience as a forward deployed engineer or customer-facing software engineer.\n\nExperience delivering a technical solution end to end, from an initial build through customer adoption and post-launch support.\n\nStrong full-stack engineering skills, including backend and frontend development, data modeling, and workflow design.\n\nFamiliarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or similar, and experience with AWS is beneficial.\n\nA bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent technical field, or comparable technical experience.\n\nExperience at an early-stage technology company or in govtech, public sector, or government-facing work is helpful.\n\nCurrent authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship is required.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $170,000 to $220,000 USD annually.
