The agent participates in live customer calls, demonstrates products through browser interactions, and follows up with prospects.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild the agent's reasoning, tool use, memory, and ability to recover when live conversations go off script, while meeting real-time latency requirements.\n\nDevelop evaluation pipelines and use call data to drive measurable improvements, including fine-tuning where it is effective.\n\nImprove browser automation reliability so the agent can demonstrate products in a live browser while speaking with buyers.\n\nShip product features end to end using TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js, working directly with customers and design partners.\n\nSet technical direction for model and method selection, build-versus-buy decisions, and future agent capabilities.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nFour to seven years of AI engineering experience, including hands-on experience shipping AI agents end to end in production.\n\nAt least one year working with real-time or voice AI systems, such as WebRTC, LiveKit, streaming, or other low-latency applications.\n\nExperience with voice AI, AI sales, browser agents, or another fast-growing AI product, plus familiarity with agent evaluation, observability, and cost optimization.\n\nProficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and Next.js, with experience in browser automation tools such as Playwright.\n\nA computer science degree or another technical background, with strong software engineering fundamentals.\n\nStartup founder or founding engineer experience is relevant.\n\nMust be based in New York or able to relocate there from the first day.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $200,000 to $250,000 annually.
