You will own core backend infrastructure and distributed systems that process complex clinical and financial workflows, helping bring new clinical intelligence capabilities into production.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and scale distributed systems for chart processing, claims, authorizations, denials, and payer and provider integrations.\n\nDevelop browser and computer-use automation for interacting with medical record software and payer portals.\n\nDesign reliable infrastructure for scanned charts, PDFs, structured claims, unstructured notes, and operational data.\n\nBuild orchestration, queuing, retry, and observability systems for long-running workflows across healthcare platforms.\n\nPartner with research and product engineers to bring new capabilities into production and establish sound engineering patterns.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of owning and scaling technically complex systems.\n\nStrong Python, microservices, and distributed systems experience, along with hands-on backend architecture and implementation skills.\n\nExperience with data pipelines, workflow orchestration, large or messy datasets, and production LLM or machine learning systems.\n\nBackground in healthtech, fintech, data infrastructure, or another engineering-intensive environment.\n\nA degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent strong technical foundations.\n\nInterest in early-stage startup work and a role involving daily hands-on coding.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $160,000 to $200,000 annually.
