You will take ownership of technical work from design through production and help shape the product through direct customer conversations.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild production-grade software across cloud infrastructure surfaces.\n\nOwn development end to end, from architectural design to production deployment.\n\nInvestigate complex issues by accessing virtual machines, analyzing logs, and tracing root causes.\n\nRead open-source code to diagnose issues with third-party dependencies.\n\nWork with customers directly and bring their needs into infrastructure and product decisions.\n\nPropose and drive work independently in two-week project cycles, while collaborating on infrastructure challenges.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nFive to eight years of experience building at startups, ideally including work as a founding engineer or early technical hire.\n\nA record of shipping products end to end and owning production systems.\n\nHands-on cloud infrastructure experience, or strong generalist skills paired with clear enthusiasm for infrastructure.\n\nExperience building software for cloud infrastructure; familiarity with networking, Kubernetes, distributed systems, or cloud platforms is a plus.\n\nAbility to debug complex systems under pressure, including through shell access and log analysis.\n\nHigh agency and comfort working without established playbooks or processes.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $200,000 to $270,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.\nLocation\nOn-site, five days per week in New York City, New York.
