You will partner with product and research engineers to bring clinical intelligence capabilities into production and establish engineering patterns for a growing team.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and scale backend systems for chart processing, claims, authorizations, denials, and healthcare integrations.\n\nOwn browser and computer-use automation for navigating electronic health record software and payer portals.\n\nDesign infrastructure that reliably processes high volumes of scanned charts, PDFs, claims, notes, and changing operational data.\n\nDevelop orchestration, queuing, retry, and observability systems for long-running workflows across healthcare platforms.\n\nWork with product and research engineers to productionize new capabilities and shape maintainable engineering practices.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nAt least 3 years of backend software engineering experience, with ownership of complex infrastructure or distributed systems.\n\nStrong Python experience and familiarity with microservices, data pipelines, workflow orchestration, and large or messy datasets.\n\nExperience designing and delivering backend systems end to end, ideally in a technically demanding company or startup environment.\n\nExperience putting LLMs or machine learning models into production.\n\nBrowser automation or complex integration experience is helpful, as are strong computer science or related technical fundamentals.\n\nInterest in building at an early-stage startup and ability to work on-site in San Francisco.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $160,000 to $200,000 annually.
