As the first engineering hire, you will help mature the core product and work directly with customers to turn research needs into reliable, tailored tools.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and improve coding agents that create custom data pipelines, scrapers, and dashboards.\n\nManage remote development environments and infrastructure for customer deployments.\n\nWork with customers to understand research goals and deliver tailored software solutions.\n\nTake features from initial design and scoping through implementation and delivery.\n\nDevelop agent skills, tool libraries, and scaffolding that expand platform capabilities.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTwo to four years of full-stack product engineering experience, with work shipped end-to-end across frontend, backend, and data.\n\nExperience delivering applied product engineering, rather than research-only work.\n\nProficiency with Python, React, SQL, PostgreSQL, and DuckDB, plus experience with LLMs or agent frameworks.\n\nExperience building LLM-powered applications or coding agents, and engineering data pipelines using web scraping, API integrations, and ETL.\n\nCustomer-facing engineering experience, including translating requirements into shipped products.\n\nA background in finance, investing, or financial data products is valuable.\n\nA bachelor's degree in computer science or a related STEM field, with strong academic and engineering fundamentals.\n\nDemonstrated initiative through shipped projects, open-source contributions, technical writing, or meaningful startup impact.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary is $165,000 to $210,000 per year.
