You will own backend and full-stack work from architecture through production, with a direct role in shaping technical decisions and product improvements.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild and own backend applications and components across the payment platform, from design through production.\n\nContribute to architecture decisions for APIs, backend systems, and infrastructure, and help establish engineering standards.\n\nWork closely with product and engineering teammates in design discussions and technical reviews.\n\nImprove real-time monitoring and alerting to understand system and user behavior.\n\nTake on projects across the platform, contributing wherever the team needs support.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nTwo to ten years of backend engineering experience, with a track record of building and owning scalable systems end to end.\n\nA bachelor's degree in a technical field and strong software engineering fundamentals.\n\nProduction experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus familiarity with AWS and Terraform.\n\nProficiency in Go or Node.js, and experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, and gRPC.\n\nExperience at an established company or startup; fintech or payments infrastructure experience is helpful.\n\nExperience working in person in the United States and recent professional engineering experience.\n\nClear communication, sound technical judgment, and comfort working in a fast-moving environment.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nAnnual salary range: $180,000 to $230,000.
