About the Role
Join the R&D team at a Series A robotics startup and build software that powers AI-driven robots in production environments. This hands-on, generalist role spans robotics software, hardware integration, and cloud systems, with work that directly affects how robots perform in the real world.
What You'll Do
Orchestrate real-time robot software, motion planning optimization systems, and machine learning pipelines across platforms.
Build and maintain data-labeling frontends, perception systems, and compilers for robot intelligence.
Work across the robotics stack, from firmware and hardware integration to cloud infrastructure.
Collaborate with teammates to design, build, and ship systems for production robotics.
Deploy software at customer facilities and improve robotic performance in real-world environments.
What We're Looking For
One to three years of software engineering experience in robotics, automation, or embedded systems.
Experience building and shipping software for physical robotic systems, such as robotic arms, manipulation systems, or autonomous hardware, in production or customer environments.
Strong Python skills and programming fundamentals; experience with TypeScript and React is a plus.
Familiarity with ROS, C/C++, Docker, Kubernetes, and systemd.
Experience owning engineering outcomes end to end, integrating hardware and software, and working across a robotics system.
A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, robotics, or a related engineering field.
Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where priorities and areas of focus can shift.
