You will own hardware subsystems from initial circuit design through validation and production integration.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign power electronics PCBAs, including motor controllers, DC-DC converters, inverters, power switches, and power distribution systems.\n\nOwn hardware development from schematic design through bring-up, debugging, validation, and production integration.\n\nDefine subsystem requirements and develop power system designs in the context of the overall vehicle.\n\nDesign and support high-voltage and high-current systems for actuators, power filtering, and mission-critical avionics power buses.\n\nSupport power electronics for ground systems as needed.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3 to 15 years of experience designing power electronics, including motor controllers, DC-DC converters, or power distribution PCBAs.\n\nA BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n\nHands-on experience designing and debugging hardware through bring-up and validation, with ownership extending through production.\n\nPCB design experience with Altium or an equivalent tool, plus experience with SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink.\n\nExperience with high-voltage systems, EMI/EMC, and flight hardware or other high-reliability systems in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or a similar field.\n\nU.S. citizenship or permanent residency and eligibility for a security clearance.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nAnnual base salary: $150,000 to $200,000.
