You will own hardware subsystems end to end, from initial design through testing and production integration.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign power electronics PCBAs, including motor controllers, DC-DC converters, inverters, power switches, and power distribution systems.\n\nTake hardware from schematic design through bring-up, debugging, validation, and production integration.\n\nDefine subsystem requirements and shape power system design in the context of the full vehicle.\n\nDevelop high-voltage and high-current systems for actuators, power filtering, and mission-critical avionics power buses.\n\nSupport power electronics for ground systems as needed.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nThree to 15 years of hands-on power electronics design experience, including circuit design and PCBA development.\n\nA BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.\n\nExperience with Altium or an equivalent PCB design tool, and circuit simulation tools such as SPICE and MATLAB/Simulink.\n\nExperience owning hardware from design through bring-up, validation, and production, with practical hardware design and debugging skills.\n\nBackground in aerospace, defense, automotive, robotics, or another hardware-intensive field; flight hardware or high-reliability systems experience is valued.\n\nU.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and eligibility to obtain a security clearance.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $150,000 to $200,000 annually.
