You will take ownership of projects from idea through delivery and help the team move quickly as it grows.\nWhat You'll Do\nBuild consumer-facing backend features that contribute to key business metrics.\n\nDevelop data-driven systems for challenges such as matchmaking and fraud prevention.\n\nImprove engineering processes, including CI/CD pipelines and experimentation platforms, to help the team ship efficiently.\n\nTake initiative in identifying projects and carry them through to completion with limited direction.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nFive to eight years of backend software engineering experience.\n\nProficiency in Go, or the ability and willingness to ramp up quickly; experience with Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform is relevant.\n\nExperience delivering consumer-facing backend features end to end with measurable business impact.\n\nBackground in a fast-growing startup or a high-performing engineering environment, with the ability to work effectively outside highly process-heavy organizations.\n\nExperience with data-driven systems such as matchmaking, fraud prevention, or recommendation engines is valuable.\n\nExperience with real-time features, payments, consumer gaming applications, CI/CD, or experimentation platforms is a plus.\n\nA bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.\n\nCompensation & Benefits\nBase salary: $200,000 to $400,000 annually.
