This is a fully hands-on individual contributor role, with 100% focus on direct engineering and architecture. The ideal candidate thrives on writing production-quality code, architecting scalable systems, and solving deep technical challenges, while staying closely engaged with senior stakeholders on technical direction.\nResponsibilities:\nTechnology Architecture and Stack\nDefine and implement the company's technical architecture and roadmap in collaboration with the founding team.\nDesign scalable, robust, and secure systems to support rapid growth and innovation.\nEvaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to meet business needs.\nHands-On Engineering (100%)\nContribute production-quality code across the stack - back-end, front-end, and data layers.\nLead by example in adopting AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate development velocity and code quality.\nOwn critical technical deliverables end-to-end, from design through deployment and monitoring.\nDrive integration of AI capabilities into the product, spanning both agentic workflows (agent orchestration, RAG pipelines, tool-use patterns) and applied AI models (OCR, classification).\nArchitect and build core platform components, setting technical standards and best practices through hands-on implementation.\nProduct Development\nPartner with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate ideas into technical solutions.\nDrive the end-to-end development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance.\nEnsure timely delivery of features and maintain a high-quality codebase.\nOperational Excellence\nImplement best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and system monitoring.\nOptimize performance, reliability, and scalability of systems and processes.\nManage technical debt and balance short-term deliverables with long-term sustainability.\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\nAct as a technical thought partner to senior leaders, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.\nRepresent the engineering perspective in cross-functional discussions and ensure alignment with business objectives.\nCommunicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nQualifications:\nExperience and Education\n5+ years of hands-on B2B SaaS software development experience in an individual contributor or architect capacity.\nStartup experience is highly desirable.\nDeep experience with all forms of agile development processes.\nEngineering degree is preferred since this is an engineering-focused product.\nHas experience working directly with senior leadership and knowing when and how to manage expectations with scope, schedule, cost.\nTechnical Expertise\nDeep understanding of modern programming languages, frameworks, and cloud technologies especially Azure.\nHands-on experience with architecture and full-stack development is a requirement.\nHands-on proficiency in .NET (back-end microservices), SQL databases, and Python - or appropriate equivalents - is required.\nHands-on proficiency in Angular (or equivalent modern front-end framework) is required.\nAgentic AI Integrations: Experience building Agentic AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry APIs -
