Junior Consulting Engineer

Job description:
As a Consulting Engineer (Junior Executive), you will deliver technical consulting, implementation, customer success, troubleshooting, integrations, and automation for enterprise projects across Southeast Asia and global markets.

This role is suitable for fresh graduates or early-career engineers interested in cloud technology, observability, DevOps, technical consulting, enterprise software, and customer-facing engineering work. You will work directly with customer IT teams and internal regional teams to drive technical discovery, implementation, testing, documentation, and project delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Run or co-lead technical discovery sessions, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, customer workshops, and implementation activities.

• Carry out deployment, testing, troubleshooting, go-live support, user enablement, and customer follow-up, acting as a technical point of contact for assigned customers.

• Build and maintain integrations with APIs, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, monitoring tools, observability platforms, ticketing systems, and data sources.

• Write scripts, automation, and lightweight tools to streamline implementation and delivery.

• Build dashboards, alerts, reports, workflows, and customer-specific use cases.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and customer support materials.

• Work with customer IT, cloud, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to gather technical requirements and translate them into implementation plans.

• Collaborate with regional sales, product, engineering, support, and delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.

• Contribute to regional and global customer projects, coordinating with teams across multiple markets.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, SoftwareEngineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure,Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud, Tencent Cloud, or similar platforms.

• Hands-on experience with programming or scripting languages such asPython, JavaScript, Java, Go, Shell, SQL, or similar.

• Good understanding of APIs, web services, databases, networking,Linux, and technical troubleshooting.

• Strong interest in cloud computing, observability, DevOps, SiteReliability Engineering, enterprise software, or technical consulting.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

• Curious, technically inclined, customer-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of customer deliverables.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; internships, personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions related to cloud, software engineering, DevOps, or observability will be considered.

• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, monitoring, logging, or cloud-native technologies would be a plus.

• Experience working on team-based or customer-facing technical projects would be beneficial.
