and business continuity.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong procurement expertise with exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience managing complex supplier relationships in technology, consulting, professional services, and contingent workforce environments.\nLocation: Remote (West Coast candidates preferred)\nESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:\nStrategic Sourcing & Category Management\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for technology and professional services spend categories, including software, SaaS, IT services, consulting, managed services, telecommunications, and business services.\nConduct spend analysis, market research, and supplier assessments to identify sourcing opportunities and cost optimization initiatives.\nLead competitive sourcing events, including RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations.\nBuild category strategies that align with organizational goals, operational requirements, and growth objectives.\nSupplier Relationship Management\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers and service providers.\nEvaluate supplier performance through defined KPIs, scorecards, and business reviews.\nIdentify and mitigate supplier risks related to financial stability, service delivery, security, compliance, and business continuity.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers to enhance value and service quality.\nContract Negotiation & Management\nLead commercial negotiations for supplier agreements, statements of work, master service agreements, software licensing agreements, and professional services contracts.\nNegotiate pricing, service-level agreements (SLAs), payment terms, renewal provisions, data security requirements, and contractual protections.\nPartner with legal, finance, IT, and business stakeholders throughout the contracting lifecycle.\nEnsure contracts are properly documented, maintained, and compliant with company policies.\nStakeholder Partnership\nCollaborate with department leaders to understand business requirements and sourcing needs.\nProvide procurement guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and vendor selection decisions.\nServe as a trusted advisor on sourcing best practices and supplier management strategies.\nCost Savings & Value Creation\nIdentify and execute cost reduction, cost avoidance, and value-generation initiatives.\nTrack sourcing project outcomes and report savings achievements.\nDrive process improvements that increase procurement efficiency and supplier effectiveness.\nEDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Procurement, or related field.\n7+ years of strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management experience.\nExperience sourcing and negotiating contracts within technology and professional services categories.\nDemonstrated success leading supplier negotiations and achieving measurable cost savings.\nStrong understanding of contract terms, commercial negotiations, and supplier management principles.\nExperience managing cross-functional stakeholder relationships.\nAdvanced analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in staffing, workforce solutions, human capital, or professional services industries.\nExperience sourcing technology solutions including SaaS, cloud services, software licensing, cybersecurity, and IT consulting.\nProfessional certification such as CPSM, CPSD, CSCP, CPM, or equivalent.\nCORE KNOWLEDGE and SKILLS:\nAbility to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions.\nCritical thinker with resourcefulness and ability to devise and create and communicate timely solutions to medium-to-complex problems.\nStrong multi-tasker with ability to prioritize and adapt fast in an ever-changing environment\nEffectively manage numerous projects at a given time in a fast-paced environment\nAbility to think creatively, work independently and as part of a team to solve problems given limited resources and time and, have a strong work ethic, and adhere to deadlines. \nSolid organizational and project management skills \nResults oriented\nAbility to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of management to build partnerships with various departments and suppliers\nExperience performing cost savings analysis using advanced Excel including V-look ups, pivot tables, and other related software applications\nExperience with procurement, contract lifecycle management, or spend analytics systems (Oracle Fusion). \nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis position will not have any direct supervisory responsibilities.\nSalary Range: $124,300 - $155,300 annually, depending on experience and geographic location plus eligibility for an annual bonus, subject to plan terms.\nPlease note that actual compensation offered may vary based on local pay
