This role is accountable for driving revenue growth and profitability of the territory. Additionally, this role includes supervisory and staff development, team building, conflict resolution, monitoring operations and managing financials.\nLocation: North Charleston, SC\nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nOperational Excellence:\nManage territory profit and loss (P&L).\nMonitor performance metrics and financial data to assess and improve operational effectiveness.\nIdentify, prioritize and resolve operational issues.\nOversee day-to-day operations.\nMaintain branch appearance in alignment with company standards.\nIdentify high-priority tasks and assign them to team members for timely and successful completion.\nPromote and ensure a culture of safety.\nManage workers compensation claims.\nAccountable for compliance with organizational standards, customer requirements, as well as federal, state and local regulations.\nStreamline processes for operational excellence.\nLead change initiatives and adopt new systems.\nAssociate Support:\nPromote a Safe Workplace by conducting on-site safety visits, performing associate check-ins, and ensure personal protective equipment (PPE) is accessible to associates.\nLead investigations for worker's compensation claims\nConduct new hire orientations at customer locations as needed.\nRepresent the company at local job fairs and build relationships with community partners, including unemployment offices.\nLeadership:\nManages territory staff including hiring, scheduling and assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommending promotions, transfers, demotions or terminations.\nSet performance goals and professional development plans.\nLead team building and staff development activities.\nStrategize and drive grass-roots recruiting in local markets when needed.\nThis role will manage 2 - 7 individual contributors potentially across multiple locations.\nCustomer Satisfaction and Engagement:\nRetain and expand existing customer accounts.\nMonitor customer feedback and recommend strategies to improve the customer experience.\nTravel to customer sites for sales and safety needs.\nTroubleshoot customer service issues and provide resolutions.\nSales and Marketing:\nUse existing data and dashboard to identify and re-engage with past billing customers.\nSupport existing customer base to drive additional sales.\nCreate price quotes for prospective customers.\nUnderstand local market conditions and support current and prospective sales opportunities.\nEnsure leads sourced by Sales Enablement are followed up on - when applicable.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience\nAt least 4 years’ professional experience with 2 years of related management experience.\nPrior experience in improving customer satisfaction and driving positive business outcomes.\nExperience in account management and direct customer interface.\nPrior experience managing in the staffing industry or similar preferred.\nProven leadership competencies and experience.\nCore Knowledge and Skills:\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProficient in financial performance analysis.\nSuccess in developing and maintaining customer relationships.\nAdvanced problem-solving abilities.\nCapable of defining problems, collecting data, and making informed decisions.\nAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.\nProven ability to drive processes and improve operational performance.\nDemonstrated leadership competencies.\nExperience in hiring, managing, developing, and leading individuals and teams.\nProficient in MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Teams.\nWork Environment and Physical Demands:\nMust have valid driver license, reliable, registered vehicle, and vehicle insurance.\nWork hours may require flexibility and availability in the evenings and weekends as necessary.\nUp to 50% of the work could be outside of the territory at customer sites performing sales activities.\nBranch work environment with frequent customer interaction.\nEmployee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Occasionally exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
