If you want to make an impact and grow with a team that inspires millions, you’ll fit right in.\nThe role:\nAs a Data Engineer, you will play an important role in the Data infrastructure team, which is responsible for building and maintaining a scalable, robust, self-service analytics platform.\nWhat you'll do:\nMaintaining and improving the ingestion pipeline to reliably deliver billions of events daily in a defined SLA\nProvide support for all teams in building and optimizing their complex pipelines\nWork closely with other teams to identify pain points and problems around the platform\nDevelop new tools and frameworks to improve the data platform\nWork in close collaboration with data scientists and data analysts to help support their work in production\nWork with vast projects such as building an ML platform and streaming use cases\nSet up best practices and processes around software and data development\nWhat you bring in:\n3+ years of experience in data engineering \nExperience working with an orchestration tool (ex, Airflow)\nExperience working with a large data set\nExperience building complex ETL pipelines\nExperience working with cloud providers such as GCP, AWS, or Azure\nStrong programming skills in Spark with Scala and Python\nExperience working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Git\nStrong understanding of Software Engineering practices and principles\nExcellent problem-solving and communication skills\nSelf-motivated and have a proven ability to take the initiative to own the problems that come up and solve them\nIt would be great if you also have:\nWorking with messaging systems like Kafka\nKnowledge of Kubernetes\nHands-on experience with any streaming platform\nExperience managing a data warehouse in BigQuery or Redshift\nWhat we offer: \nWe support growth through learning resources, leadership programs, mentoring, and real hands-on work.
