In this dual role, you’ll own projects from the first bid through closeout, estimating and then managing Division 10 specialty packages on commercial construction projects.\nThe company has supplied specialties on more than 25,000 projects, works with leading manufacturers across the country, and is growing. The right person is detail-driven, organized, and enjoys the variety of winning work and seeing it through to delivery.\nWhat You’ll Do as the Project Manager / Estimator:\nReview bid documents, specifications, architectural drawings, and addenda\nPrepare detailed takeoffs at every stage of design for negotiated and competitive bids\nSolicit and evaluate vendor and manufacturer pricing to build competitive, complete bids\nTrack bid deadlines and make sure all bid forms and documents are submitted on time\nManage awarded projects from handoff through closeout\nServe as the primary point of contact for general contractors, vendors, and internal team members\nReview contracts and confirm scope against the estimate and project requirements\nCoordinate submittals, shop drawings, and material procurement\nTrack schedules, lead times, and milestones to keep deliveries on time\nMonitor project costs, manage change orders, and protect profitability\nResolve issues proactively and keep stakeholders informed\nComplete accurate project documentation, including closeout materials\nMust-Haves as the Project Manager / Estimator:\n1+ year of construction estimating experience\n1+ year of commercial construction project management experience\nExperience with submittals, shop drawings, and project scheduling\nExperience communicating with general contractors and vendors\nAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications\nStrong understanding of takeoffs, pricing, and construction project workflows\nExcellent organization, time management, and attention to detail\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and Dropbox\nAssociate degree or higher\nAbility to work in person in Council Bluffs, IA\nNice-to-Haves as the Project Manager / Estimator:\nDivision 10 specialties experience, such as toilet partitions and accessories, lockers, fire extinguisher cabinets, or wall protection\nExperience with other specialty or architectural product scopes, such as doors, frames, and hardware\nExperience with ConstructConnect and STACK takeoff and estimating software\nExperience at a specialty subcontractor, distributor, or general contractor\nProcurement and lead-time management experience\nThis Role Offers:\nBase salary of $60,000-$90,000, depending on experience\n401(k) with a 4% company match\nHealth, dental, vision, and life insurance\nPaid time off\nOwnership of projects from bid through closeout\nA stable, family-owned company with nearly four decades in business and more than 25,000 projects completed\nRelationships with leading manufacturers and general contractors across the region\nA growing team with the work to back it up\nTrueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
