company that values its field employees.\nWhat You'll Do as the Working Superintendent - Concrete Foundations:\nLead concrete foundation projects for electrical substations, switchyards, transmission facilities, and related infrastructure.\nManage projects from initial mobilization through completion, including crews, equipment, materials, and daily production.\nInterpret engineered drawings and turn construction plans into safe, efficient field operations.\nOversee drilled piers, structural foundations, concrete pads, and related installation work.\nDirect field crews of approximately 5-10 employees, with occasional responsibility for larger operations.\nCoordinate equipment, manpower, materials, and jobsite resources to keep work moving.\nMonitor construction quality, safety practices, production schedules, and project progress.\nWork with customers, inspectors, subcontractors, and company leadership to resolve field issues.\nLead jobsite meetings and communicate schedule updates, resource needs, and project challenges.\nStep in and assist crews with hands-on construction work when needed.\nMaintain accountability for workmanship, safety, equipment, and jobsite performance.\nTravel to projects throughout the central and western United States.\nMust-Haves as the Working Superintendent - Concrete Foundations:\nStrong field experience in concrete foundations, drilled piers, drilled shafts, heavy civil construction, or closely related specialty foundation work.\nProven ability to independently lead construction crews and execute projects.\nAbility to read engineered drawings and manage construction directly from plans.\nWorking knowledge of drilled pier installation and structural concrete foundation construction.\nExperience coordinating field labor, equipment, materials, production, safety, and quality.\nWillingness to work hands-on alongside the crew when necessary.\nComfort working outdoors in challenging weather and construction conditions.\nAbility to travel extensively and remain on the road for extended periods, with home visits generally coordinated around project needs.\nValid driver's license and ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment screening requirements.\nStrong communication, leadership, accountability, and problem-solving skills.\nNice-to-Haves as the Working Superintendent - Concrete Foundations:\nApproximately 5-7+ years of relevant field construction experience, although highly capable candidates with less experience will be considered.\nExperience building drilled pier foundations for substations, switchyards, or transmission infrastructure.\nExperience with slurry drilling, rock drilling, and temporary or permanent casing.\nExperience working in challenging soil and ground conditions.\nBackground managing multiple crews or larger foundation projects.\nClass A CDL with air brake qualification.\nExperience as a Concrete Superintendent, Drilling Superintendent, Foundation Superintendent, or senior field foreman.\nEstablished relationships with skilled foundation crews or foremen.\nThe Company Offers:\nStarting compensation generally ranging from $45-$55+ per hour, depending on experience.\nSignificant overtime opportunities, with weekly schedules commonly around 55-60 hours.\nCompany-paid lodging while traveling.\nAdditional $50 per day per diem when
