Its flagship platform helps home improvement and home renovation contractors streamline estimating, invoicing, payments, and project management, enabling thousands of small and medium-sized businesses to operate more efficiently through modern cloud-based technology.\nJob Summary\nThe Semi-Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS. This position focuses on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, platform reliability, observability, and operational excellence while supporting the continuous evolution of a modern SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with AWS services, infrastructure automation, serverless architectures, and monitoring solutions, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional engineering, product, security, and SRE teams to improve platform scalability, reliability, and developer productivity.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.\n\nDevelop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.\n\nBuild, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern automation tools.\n\nMonitor production environments using observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.\n\nTroubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.\n\nImprove automation, deployment, and operational processes to increase platform efficiency.\n\nCollaborate with Engineering, Product, Security, and SRE teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.\n\nSupport serverless applications and cloud-native architectures.\n\nContribute to platform scalability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization initiatives.\n\nFollow cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.\n\nQualifications and Job Requirements\n2-4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.\n\nHands-on experience with AWS services, including ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, Route 53, and VPC.\n\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.\n\nStrong understanding of cloud infrastructure automation and DevOps best practices.\n\nExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Bitbucket Pipelines.\n\nExperience working with serverless architectures.\n\nHands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.\n\nProgramming or scripting experience with Python, Bash, Ruby, or similar languages.\n\nKnowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, secrets management, and encryption.\n\nExperience with CloudFront, API Gateway, AWS cost optimization, and Agile methodologies is a plus.\n\nAdvanced English communication skills.\n\nYou would be on call for 2 weeks out of every 10-week rotation. During your on-call period, you may receive alerts or calls at any time. If an issue arises, you would be expected to log in and address it.
