We use AI agents to help startups, growing businesses, and accounting firms close faster, reduce manual work, and deliver clean, investor-ready financials.\nTruewind is built for the messy, high-volume parts of accounting-like Point of Sale tie-outs, payroll accruals, donations/revenue schedules, fixed assets & prepaids rollforwards, and field-services revenue recognition -and turns them into reliable workflows without spreadsheet chaos.\nWe’re a YC company and have raised a $13M Series A co-led by Rho Capital and Thomson Reuters Ventures (with Pathlight Ventures, Fin Capital, and Y Combinator participating), bringing total funding to $17M+.\nWho We Are\nTruewind is a fast-moving, thoughtful team built around ownership, impact, and solving problems that matter.\nWe collaborate closely in San Francisco (we have an office in Soma) while also working with teammates in multiple regions globally-what matters most is that we execute and deliver outcomes for customers.\nWho We Need\nWe’re looking for an accountant who wants to build -someone who can take real-world accounting problems, translate them into repeatable workflows, and help customers see measurable improvements in their month-end close.\nYou will:\ninvestigate the customers accounting process to identify pain points,\nsupport the AE in the sales process by facilitating the POC,\nown the long-term relationship with customers after onboarding,\npartnering with controllers, finance leads, and accounting teams to ensure they’re getting compounding value from Truewind.\nIf you like:\nsolving messy accounting + data problems,\n\nworking directly with customers,\n\nconfiguring systems/workflows, and\n\nbeing accountable for outcomes-\nthis role is for you.\n\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn customer relationships and outcomes\nRun success plans, lead recurring check-ins, and keep stakeholders aligned on business goals and close improvements.\nTurn accounting pain into AI-powered workflows\nTranslate close, reconciliation, and supporting-doc requirements into Truewind processes customers can trust.\nBe the accounting-to-product bridge\nConnect GAAP reality to product capabilities, ensuring workflows are accurate, auditable, and scalable.\nDrive adoption and expansion\nLead enablement (trainings, playbooks, best practices), surface new use cases, and help customers roll Truewind out more broadly.\nWork cross-functionally\nDeliver front-line feedback to Product/Engineering, help triage issues, and improve handoffs and playbooks.\nBecome a Truewind product expert\nStay current on platform capabilities and teach customers how to get the most out of the “digital accountant” experience.\nBecome AI-native\nYou’re bringing accountants into the AI era. You need to stay ahead of the curve and be AI-native yourself.
