Specific activities may change from time to time.\nImplements and may help establish key elements of short-term (less than 1 year) tactical and operational plans with significant contribution towards the achievement of results for the job area.\nLeads the development and deployment of AI models and data architectures to enhance business processes and system performance.\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business applications and workflows.\nConducts experiments and assesses AI initiative performance to drive continuous improvement.\nSupports innovation efforts by contributing to intellectual property and advancing AI capabilities.\nManages a small to mid-sized AI and data team consisting of lower-level Management, as well as experienced individual contributors.\nDevelops and enforces AI and data governance standards aligned with organizational objectives and compliance requirements.\nCoaches and mentors teammates to build AI expertise and foster a data-driven culture.\nMakes moderate to significant improvements of AI and data processes and systems.\nCollaborates with stakeholders to identify real-world problems and apply AI and analytics for actionable insights.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.\nMinimum of 7 years of professional experience in AI and data.\nExperience managing teams and delivering AI and data-driven solutions.\nStrong knowledge of AI models, data architectures, and analytics methodologies.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAdvanced degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.\nExperience in the financial services industry.\nFamiliarity with regulatory compliance and data governance frameworks.\nKnowledge of emerging trends in AI and data.\nDemonstrated expertise architecting and delivering production-grade AI/ML and agentic AI solutions using platforms such as Amazon SageMaker, AWS Bedrock and AgentCore, and Azure OpenAI.\n**This position is onsite, office-centric (5 days a week), based in a Truist core location.**\nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
