The role involves working closely with data functional teams to ensure efficient data integration, transformation, and delivery. Strong Unix/Linux scripting skills are required to support automation, scheduling, and batch processing activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Specific activities may change from time to time.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and implement ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter\nCreate and maintain mappings, workflows, sessions, and transformations\nDevelop data integration solutions to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources\nPerform data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting of ETL processes\nOptimize ETL performance and implement tuning strategies\nDevelop and maintain Unix shell scripts for job automation, scheduling, and monitoring\nWork with SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects for data processing\nSupport production deployments, issue resolution, and maintenance activities\nCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements\nEnsure data quality, integrity, and compliance with standards\nParticipate in SDLC phases: requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment\nRequired Technical Skills\nInformatica PowerCenter / Informatica Cloud (IICS)\nStrong knowledge of ETL development and data warehousing concepts\nProficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, etc.)\nHands-on experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting\nExperience in data modeling and database design\nKnowledge of workflow scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys)\nUnderstanding of performance tuning and optimization techniques\nExperience working with multiple data sources (XML, flat files, RDBMS)\nPreferred/Additional Skills\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies\nExperience with version control and release management\nSoft Skills\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nGood communication and collaboration abilities\nAttention to detail and accuracy\nAbility to work independently and within teams\nGeneral Description of Available Benefits for Eligible Employees of Truist Financial Corporation: All regular teammates (not temporary or contingent workers) working 20 hours or more per week are eligible for benefits, though eligibility for specific benefits may be determined by the division of Truist offering the position.
