Emphasizes delivering scalable, reliable, and high-quality applications by applying advanced best practices in coding, architecture, and software lifecycle management, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers.This Software Engineer independently designs, develops, tests, modernizes, and supports Wealth & Trust applications and integration services. The role focuses on delivering scalable, secure, and resilient business solutions while modernizing legacy platforms and migrating applications to cloud-based architectures.\nThe engineer combines strong expertise in .NET/C#, SQL Server, Node.js, Angular, REST APIs, and AWS services to build new capabilities, enhance existing applications, and enable seamless integration across business and technology platforms. The position partners closely with Product, Architecture, Security, Operations, Data, and Business teams to deliver solutions that improve client experience, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and platform reliability.\nScope of Responsibility\nDevelopment and support of Wealth & Trust applications supporting client, advisor, operations, servicing, accounting, reporting, and workflow capabilities.\nModernization of legacy applications through refactoring, API enablement, cloud migration, and technical debt reduction initiatives.\nDevelopment of web applications, APIs, background services, and event-driven solutions using .NET, Node.js, Angular, SQL Server, and AWS services.\nIntegration across enterprise platforms, vendor systems, cloud services, and legacy environments utilizing APIs, messaging, and file-based interfaces.\nDelivery of secure, observable, resilient, and supportable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, risk, and operational standards.\n• Participation in application modernization programs, cloud adoption initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts that reduce operational risk and increase speed to market.\nwill be office based at either of the posted locations.\nSponsorship is not available for this role.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster’s Degree or MBA.\nCertification in Six Sigma Green Belt, CQIA, or similar process improvement methodologies.\nPrevious experience in the banking or financial services industry.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nStrong experience with .NET Framework, ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server, and SSIS.\nExperience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms and application modernization initiatives.\n Knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and modern authentication patterns.\n8. Familiarity with Angular and Node.js development.\n9. Troubleshoots, debugs, and resolves complex software defects and production issues, applying root-cause analysis and corrective actions.\n6. Participates actively in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and support.\n7. Applies secure coding practices, testing strategies, and documentation standards to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational guidelines.\n8. Mentors and supports junior engineers to foster technical growth and adherence to best practices.\n9.
