Working closely with business partners, project managers, vendors, and technology functions, this individual provides program-level leadership, governance, integrated planning, and coordination to ensure projects collectively achieve program and organizational objectives.\nThis position is open to candidates in the Seattle, WA area. You will have a hybrid remote/in-office schedule where you will work from our casual, pet-friendly office at least 3 days a week.\nResponsibilities:\nLead corporate-wide IT programs consisting of multiple related projects and workstreams. \nDefine program objectives, scope, priorities, roadmaps, governance, milestones, and success measures. \nCreate and maintain integrated and interlocking schedules across projects and track cross-project dependencies. \nUnderstand how individual projects affect the program and exercise judgment in elevating issues and risks to the appropriate level. \nCoordinate project managers, business stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and technology resources to support effective program execution. \nEstablish program-level risk, issue, dependency, decision, and change-management practices and drive resolution of cross-project blockers. \nProvide leadership and mentoring to project team managers, foster a positive team environment, and provide direction in ambiguous situations. \nUse negotiation, influence, and creativity to resolve conflicts involving scope, schedule, costs/budget, risks, dependencies, and resources across the program. \nEstablish program status reporting and provide consolidated visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, resources, and overall program health. \nCoordinate third-party vendor activities and monitor vendor performance across program workstreams. \nPartner with cross-functional teams to ensure proper organizational change readiness \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience. \n6+ years of project/program management experience in a professional technology environment, including responsibility for complex cross-functional initiatives. \nHands-on experience with SDLC and implementation methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. \nProficiency with PMO collaboration tools such as Planview, Microsoft Project, or Portfolio for Jira. \nPMP, PgMP, Scrum, SAFe or similar certification preferred \nSkills:\nThe successful candidate will possess business operations experience and skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following:\nDrive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to flex communication style with technical and non-technical users \nComfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations \nAbility to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience. \nOrganizational, prioritization, and time management skills \nAbility to work with minimal supervision \nStrong collaborative skills with an ability to effectively communicate with both technical teams and non-technical business users/leaders \nAbility to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary \nPassion for and a desire to delight the customer \nCreative problem solving, organization, attention to detail, flexibility, and adaptability are crucial to the success of this role. \nExperience monitoring and managing vendor performance \nCompensation:\nThe base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $125,000 USD on a full-time schedule.\nAlong with base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.\nWe want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members.
