This function is primarily responsible for coordinating accurate, timely shipments and receipts of materials to and from Trust Automation, while maintaining clear communication and high level of customer service.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified, to perform the essential functions.\nRecording and Processing Inbound/Outbound Shipments: (Shipping & Receiving)\nProcess receipt of purchase orders (PO) and packing slips (PS) using the computerized ERP system\nEnsures specifications, quantity, and quality of orders match PO or PS requirements\nConducts initial product quality inspection; routes material to inspection area as required\nDetermines best shipping method based on customer needs to include speed, carrier, and any HAZMAT, FRAGILE, or insurance requirements\nPrepares items for shipment according to packaging instructions, industry best practices, or carrier requirements\nArranges carrier pick-up and drop-off\nCoordinate inbound/outbound shipping for both domestic/international with a variety of transportation companies and carriers, when required.\nUse shipping portal software to track, check, prioritize and route orders.\nManage all documents such as packing slips, bills of lading (BOL), certificates of conformance, return label creation and compliance documentation.\nRecommended to obtain and maintain DOT HazMat, IATA and Lithium-Ion Battery certifications\nMaintaining Inventory (Finished Goods/Supplies)\nPack/unpack and route materials to appropriate departments, stock locations or shipping\nPull parts from stock and verify accuracy to fulfill packing slip requirements\nAssist with periodic and annual cycle counts\nMaintain accurate stock levels at all times; notify management if adjustments are required\nCustomer Service \nProactively monitor inbound report for incoming materials\nWork to provide answers regarding the movement or content of orders, including troubleshooting to resolve discrepancies; coordinates closely with buyers, management, and sales to ensure satisfaction\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to frequent changes\nPosition Requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED\nAssociates degree or higher or 5 years of relevant work experience, preferred\nStrong organizational skills with a strong attention to detail\nExperience with computer software, data entry\nForklift experience- certification can be obtained upon hiring\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to frequent changes\nThis position may be asked to drive for company purposes during the course of employment.
