You will lead and develop a team of QA engineers, establish scalable quality practices, and work closely with Engineering, Product, Security, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of secure, reliable, and user-friendly products.\nAs QA Lead, you will take ownership of quality throughout the software development lifecycle, identify and mitigate release risks, and foster a culture in which quality is a shared responsibility across the organization.\nRole & Responsibilities\nDefine and drive the overall QA strategy, quality standards, testing methodologies, and automation roadmap across mobile, web, backend, and API products\n\nLead, mentor, and develop a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance, regular feedback, and support for career growth\n\nPartner with Engineering, Product, Security, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, assess risks, and establish appropriate testing strategies\n\nOwn end-to-end quality planning and execution for product releases, including functional, regression, integration, performance, compatibility, and exploratory testing\n\nEstablish scalable test automation frameworks and increase automated test coverage across critical user journeys and platform components\n\nIntroduce effective quality gates into CI/CD pipelines and continuously improve release confidence and engineering efficiency\n\nReview test plans, test cases, automation code, and defect reports to ensure quality, consistency, and maintainability\n\nIdentify, prioritize, and communicate product and release risks, providing clear quality assessments and release recommendations to stakeholders\n\nDefine and monitor quality metrics such as defect leakage, automation coverage, test effectiveness, release stability, and production incident trends\n\nLead defect triage and root cause analysis, working with relevant teams to resolve issues and prevent recurrence\n\nImprove QA processes, tools, environments, and documentation to support rapid and reliable product delivery\n\nChampion shift-left testing and promote shared ownership of quality across engineering and product teams\n\nStay current with developments in QA engineering, test automation, mobile technologies, blockchain systems, and cryptocurrency security\n\nQualification & Requirements\nOver 10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including significant experience in senior or technical leadership positions\n\nProven experience leading, mentoring, and developing QA engineers in a fast-paced Agile environment\n\nStrong hands-on experience designing and implementing test strategies for mobile applications, web applications, backend services, and APIs\n\nStrong expertise in test automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or equivalent technologies\n\nExperience with API testing tools such as Postman and network debugging tools such as Charles or Proxyman\n\nProficiency in Java or another relevant programming language, with the ability to design, review, and maintain automation frameworks\n\nExperience integrating automated testing and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines\n\nSolid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, exploratory, performance, compatibility, and security testing\n\nStrong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, release management, defect management, and software testing best practices\n\nDemonstrated ability to define quality metrics, analyze trends, and use data to drive improvements\n\nExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, and risk-management skills\n\nStrong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical partners\n\nHigh level of ownership, attention to detail, and ability to operate effectively in a rapidly evolving environment\n\nSolid understanding of cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, decentralized applications, or wallet security is highly advantageous\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience testing consumer-facing fintech, cryptocurrency, blockchain, security, or high-availability products\n\nExperience with mobile testing across iOS and Android devices, operating systems, and device configurations\n\nFamiliarity with blockchain transactions, wallet operations, smart contracts, dApps, staking, swaps, and cross-chain functionality\n\nExperience with performance, security, or reliability testing tools and practices\n\nExperience building or scaling a QA function within a globally distributed organization\n\nRelevant software testing or Agile certifications are a plus\n\nAdditional Information\nThis is a global and fully remote role.
