This function is primarily responsible for on-site stock accuracy through inventory management best practices, ERP transaction accuracy, and physical handling of material. This position facilitates the accurate and efficient flow of goods from the point of receipt and between all inventory sites and departments. A keen attention to detail and meticulous record keeping is essential for this role.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities, who are otherwise qualified, to perform the essential functions.\nConduct daily inventory checks and reconcile inventory discrepancies.\nMaintain accurate inventory records and update inventory management software or systems.\nMonitor inventory levels and request to replenish stock as necessary.\nIdentify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and make recommendations for disposal or clearance.\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure the timely receipt and delivery of goods.\nConduct physical inventory counts and audits to ensure that inventory levels are accurate.\nIdentify and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies before they become problems.\nEnsure that inventory storage areas are clean, organized, and secure.\nPosition Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nAttention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping\nAbility to work well both independently and as part of a team\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while adapting to frequent changes\nProficiency in inventory management software or systems\nBasic math skills and the ability to perform calculations using computer programs\nGood communication skills for coordinating with other departments and vendors\nAbility to lift and move heavy objects, as well as to stand or walk for long periods of time\nFlexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends\nForklift experience, preferred\nPrior experience in inventory management, preferred\nThis position may be asked to drive for company purposes during the course of employment.
