The team plays a critical role in protecting both consumers and merchants by ensuring regulatory compliance, managing financial crime risks, and supporting secure and seamless payment experiences across our platform. \nAbout the role\nDriven by rapid growth and a commitment to operational excellence, Trustly is seeking a KYC Analyst to join our Financial Crime Prevention (FCP) function. In this role, you will help safeguard Trustly’s ecosystem through in-depth investigations and risk assessments across both consumer and merchant-related activities.\nYou will work cross-functionally to support complex KYC workflows, transaction monitoring investigations, sanctions and PEP escalations, and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews. The role requires strong analytical capability, sound risk judgment, and the ability to navigate fast-paced operational environments while maintaining high regulatory standards.\nWhat You'll do\nConduct detailed KYC, EDD, and ODD investigations across both our french merchant populations\n\nAnalyse transaction activity, behavioural patterns, and risk indicators to identify potential suspicious activity or financial crime risks\n\nPerform sanctions, PEP, and adverse media screening reviews and investigations\n\nSupport french merchant onboarding reviews in line with AML/CFT regulatory requirements and internal controls\n\nDocument investigations, risk decisions, and supporting evidence to ensure full auditability and regulatory compliance\n\nIdentify and escalate high-risk or unusual activity to relevant internal stakeholders\n\nConduct peer reviews and contribute to quality assurance processes across investigations and remediations\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives, operational efficiencies, and updates to internal KYC/AML procedures and controls\n\nWho you are\nYou have 2-5 years of experience within KYC/AML, ideally covering merchant-related investigations in Fintech, Payments, Banking, or Financial Services environments\n\nExperience working with the French regulations is beneficial\n\nYou have hands-on experience with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), transaction monitoring, sanctions/PEP screening, and adverse media reviews\n\nYou possess strong analytical skills with the ability to identify suspicious behaviours, transaction anomalies, and emerging financial crime risks\n\nYou have a strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and risk-based decision-making frameworks\n\nYou are detail-oriented, highly organised, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced operational environments\n\nYou are collaborative, proactive, and able to communicate complex risk findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\n\nYou maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive information\n\nYou are fluent in English and French (mandatory), both written and verbal\n\nOur Fantastic Benefits (varies by location)\n20 to 25 days of holiday to support a healthy work-life balance\nMonthly team outing allowance to enjoy social events with your colleagues\nOffice perks such as refreshments (coffee, sodas etc.), breakfast, fruit and snacks\nMeal card to enjoy a daily lunch allowance to make your workdays even more convenient\nWell being support our health allowance covers gym memberships, massages, and much more to help you feel your best\nPLUS additional benefits designed to enhance your work-life experience!\nShape Your Role and Make an Impact\nJoin a dynamic environment where you can take ownership, drive change, and continuously embrace new challenges.
