You'll work across the frontend stack, from component design and application architecture through to build tooling, testing and integration with AWS Amplify and AppSync/GraphQL services.\nYou'll have the opportunity to make sound technical decisions, improve existing patterns and help set engineering standards across the frontend. Working closely with designers, backend engineers and Product, you'll deliver polished, production-ready features while continually improving performance, maintainability, developer experience and the overall quality of the platform.\nPlease note, this is a remote role with attendance required at our office in Winnersh from time to time.\n What you’ll do…\nDesign, build, and maintain production features in a React 18+ TypeScript application\nOwn and improve our Vite-based development and build pipeline, including custom plugin configuration\nDesign reusable, maintainable components and frontend architecture\nBuild accessible, responsive user interfaces using Ant Design and custom SCSS\nIntegrate frontend features with AWS Amplify and AppSync/GraphQL backends\nWork with GraphQL schemas and client-side data-fetching patterns to deliver reliable application features\nImplement and maintain internationalization (i18n) across the application\nWrite and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests using Vitest, Testing Library, and MSW\nIdentify and address frontend performance, usability, accessibility, and maintainability issues\nContribute to and enforce engineering standards around linting, formatting, testing, and pre commit checks\nParticipate in code reviews and architecture discussions, providing thoughtful technical feedback\nHelp maintain frontend dependencies and contribute to security and vulnerability auditing\nInvestigate and resolve production issues and technical debt\nCollaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product stakeholders to deliver polished, production-ready features\nContribute to improvements in developer experience, shared tooling, and reusable components\nWhat we’re looking for…\nDemonstrable professional frontend development experience, with significant hands-on experience building production applications with React and TypeScript\nDemonstrated ability to own features from technical design through implementation, testing, review, and delivery\nAbility to work independently in an established codebase while respecting and improving existing conventions\nStrong architectural judgement and the ability to explain technical decisions and trade-offs clearly\nA strong testing mindset -
