Salesforce already supports several critical areas of the organization, including grants, donations, fundraising campaigns, and monthly reporting, but there is a significant opportunity to expand how the platform is used across the organization.\nThis is not simply a system-maintenance role. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the Salesforce environment, understand how teams work today, identify opportunities to eliminate manual processes, and help build a more connected and scalable technology ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on Salesforce administration skills with curiosity, problem-solving ability, and a genuine connection to mission-driven work.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn the day-to-day administration, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Salesforce platform.\n\nPartner with organizational leaders and end users to understand business processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.\n\nConfigure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, flows, permissions, profiles, and other Salesforce functionality.\n\nBuild and maintain reports and dashboards that provide meaningful visibility into programs, fundraising, grants, campaigns, and organizational performance.\n\nIdentify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency using Salesforce.\n\nSupport and enhance existing Salesforce functionality related to grants, donations, campaigns, and organizational reporting.\n\nHelp expand Salesforce adoption across additional programs and departments.\n\nMaintain strong data quality, integrity, security, and governance practices.\n\nManage users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and access.\n\nTroubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing support to Salesforce users.\n\nDevelop documentation, training materials, and best practices to increase user adoption and confidence.\n\nEvaluate new Salesforce functionality, applications, and integrations that could improve organizational operations.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology partners on Salesforce enhancements and future initiatives.\n\nHelp establish a long-term Salesforce roadmap that supports the organization's continued growth.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n3+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience.\n\nStrong understanding of Salesforce configuration and platform capabilities.\n\nExperience building and managing Salesforce Flow automation.\n\nStrong experience with reports, dashboards, data management, and security.\n\nAbility to translate business needs into practical Salesforce solutions.\n\nExperience gathering requirements and working directly with non-technical stakeholders.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\n\nAbility to independently manage priorities and take ownership of the Salesforce environment.\n\nStrong communication skills and a collaborative, service-oriented mindset.\n\nComfortable working in an environment where Salesforce is continuing to evolve and mature.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nSalesforce Administrator certification.\n\nExperience working with nonprofit organizations or mission-driven environments.\n\nExperience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud, Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP), fundraising, donor management, grants management, or similar functionality.\n\nExperience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications or organizational systems.\n\nExperience improving processes and reducing manual work through automation.\n\nFamiliarity with data migration, data cleanup, and Salesforce governance best practices.\n\nWho Will Thrive in This Role\nYou may be a great fit if you're someone who doesn't just wait for Salesforce requests to come in - you enjoy asking \"How can we make this better?\"\nYou'll have the opportunity to learn how different areas of the organization operate, recommend improvements, and build solutions that make employees' jobs easier while giving leadership better access to meaningful data.\nMost importantly, we're looking for someone who is excited about using their Salesforce expertise in an organization where the technology directly supports a larger community-focused mission.\nWhy This Opportunity\nThis is an opportunity to become a key technology partner within a growing organization and have a significant voice in how Salesforce evolves.\nYou'll join an organization that is investing in its future, expanding its operations, and looking for someone who can help transform Salesforce from an important business system into a platform that supports the organization more broadly.
