We are looking for passionate senior software engineers who are excited to apply their backend engineering expertise to help revolutionize healthcare. \nIn this role, you will design, develop, test, deploy, and operate cloud-native backend services that support Truveta’s platform. You will build APIs, service integrations, data processing capabilities, and scalable application components using Azure, .NET, and modern engineering practices. \nThis opportunity requires strong software engineering fundamentals, technical leadership, creative problem solving, and the ability to build high-quality services that are secure, observable, reliable, and maintainable at scale. \nWhat You’ll Do \nLead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of backend services using C#, .NET, and modern cloud-native architectures. \nDesign and build RESTful APIs, service integrations, background workers, and data processing components. \nDevelop and operate services that run on Microsoft Azure. \nPartner with product managers, architects, security teams, and other engineers to define and deliver reliable platform capabilities. \nMake sound technical decisions that balance scalability, performance, security, reliability, and delivery speed. \nWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested code and set a high bar for engineering quality. \nParticipate in and lead design reviews, code reviews, debugging, and production issue resolution. \nBuild secure services that follow engineering best practices for authentication, authorization, data protection, and compliance. \nImprove observability through structured logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and operational dashboards. \nDrive service reliability, performance improvements, and operational readiness. \nMentor engineers, provide technical guidance, and help improve team practices. \nLearn and apply domain knowledge related to healthcare data, distributed systems, and large-scale cloud platforms. \nKey Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. \n7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with significant experience developing backend services, APIs, or cloud-based applications. \nStrong hands-on programming experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core. \nProven experience designing and building REST APIs, microservices, or distributed backend systems. \nExperience building and operating cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure. \nExperience working with relational or NoSQL databases. \nStrong understanding of software engineering practices including unit testing, code reviews, debugging, source control, CI/CD, and production service ownership. \nSolid understanding of security concepts such as authentication, authorization, secrets management, secure API design, and data protection. \nExperience troubleshooting complex issues across services, infrastructure, data stores, and distributed systems. \nAbility to lead technical discussions, influence design decisions, and mentor other engineers. \nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality software in a fast-moving engineering environment. \nEffective communication and collaboration skills. \nPreferred Qualifications\nHands-on experience with Azure services. \nExperience building scalable services using ASP.NET Core, Web API, or similar frameworks. \nExperience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, queues, messaging, or data pipelines. \nExperience with large-scale data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark. \nFamiliarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application deployment. \nExperience with observability tools and practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and service health monitoring. \nExperience improving service reliability, performance, scalability, and operational excellence. \nExperience working with healthcare, data platforms, analytics platforms, or regulated environments. \nInterest in building reliable software that improves healthcare outcomes and helps save lives with
