We are looking for software engineers excited by the opportunity to improve health care in far-reaching ways. \nIn this position, you will design and build the core search and query engine behind Truveta's data platform. You will work on how queries are planned, scheduled, and executed at scale, with a focus on keeping them fast, reliable, and efficient on very large datasets.\nYou will diagnose performance and reliability problems in production and fix them with well-tested, low-risk changes. You will work with internal users and partner teams to understand their use cases and requirements, and turn them into scalable, maintainable solutions.\nWe are seeking software engineers who:\nHave proven experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms\nAre quick learners who can iterate on and evolve distributed software solutions while carefully balancing privacy, security, and reliability requirements with a changing product landscape\nHave knowledge of and experience designing and working with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs\nCan guide workstreams, mentor and inspire junior developers, and cultivate a positive work environment\nAdhere to Truveta principles in support of ethical innovation\nAre committed to ongoing training on key topics such as privacy, ethics, and security\nKey Qualifications: \n5+ years of experience building production quality software in a team setting; experience working as part of distributed teams is a plus \nExperience building cloud services or data programming languages like Java, Python, or C# \nExperience building and supporting cross-platform across multiple-tenants. \n2+ years of experience working on modern cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure); InfOps or DevOps experience a plus \nB.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field \nPrior work with Kubernetes is a plus. \nWhy Truveta?\nBe a part of building something special. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
