Semantic normalization is where that data becomes usable. Health systems describe the same diagnosis, lab result, or medication in countless ways, and our platform maps each one to a standard medical concept, so researchers can study data from many health systems as one. Every dataset Truveta delivers runs through it. \nAs a Senior Software Engineer, you will own major pieces of the platform's next-generation architecture. You will scale the service for both the volume and the variety of its workloads, building a flexible system that keeps pace with Truveta's growing data volume and expanding range of data sources. \nWe are seeking backend engineers who:\nHave proven experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms \nAre quick learners who can iterate on and evolve distributed software solutions while carefully balancing privacy, security, and reliability requirements with a changing product landscape \nHave knowledge of and experience designing and working with distributed systems, data pipelines, and APIs \nCan guide workstreams, mentor and inspire junior developers, and cultivate a positive work environment \nAdhere to Truveta principles in support of ethical innovation \nAre committed to ongoing training on key topics such as privacy, ethics, and security \nKey Qualifications: \n5+ years of experience building production-quality software in a team setting \nExperience building cloud services or data pipelines in Java, Python, or C# \nExperience building and supporting cross-platform, multi-tenant services \n2+ years of experience on cloud-native platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) \nB.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field \nInfraOps or DevOps experience is a plus \nKubernetes experience is a plus \nHealthcare domain experience is a plus \nExperience with AI agents is a plus \nWhy Truveta?\nBe a part of building something special. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
