You will work on container orchestration, service mesh, API gateway infrastructure, workflow orchestration, platform automation, observability, reliability, and security across Azure-based environments. \nThis opportunity requires strong software engineering fundamentals, curiosity for open-source technologies, creative problem solving, and a desire to build reliable infrastructure systems at scale. \nWhat You’llDo \nDevelop, maintain, and operate cloud-native infrastructure services that support Truveta’s healthcare data platform. \nWork with Kubernetes-based infrastructure to support scalable, secure, and reliable workloads. \nBuild and maintain platform capabilities using open-source technologies such as Kubernetes, Conductor, Istio, Kong, and related cloud-native tools. \nSupport infrastructure and platform services running on Microsoft Azure. \nContribute to automation, tooling, and operational improvements that increase engineering productivity and platform reliability. \nHelp implement observability practices including logging, metrics, tracing, dashboards, and alerting. \nParticipate in incident response, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and production issue resolution. \nCollaborate with product engineers, security teams, architects, and senior engineers to deliver reliable infrastructure capabilities. \nWrite clean, maintainable code and configuration for infrastructure services, automation, and platform tooling. \nContribute to documentation, runbooks, deployment guidance, and operational best practices. \nLearn and apply cloud-native engineering practices across security, reliability, scalability, and performance. \nKey Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. \n2+ years of software engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering experience. \nExperience developing, maintaining, or operating cloud-based infrastructure or platform services. \nFamiliarity with Kubernetes, containers, and cloud-native application deployment. \nFamiliarity with open-source infrastructure technologies such as service mesh, API gateways, workflow orchestration, or container orchestration platforms. \nExperience with Microsoft Azure or a strong interest in building infrastructure on Azure. \nUnderstanding of CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, monitoring, and operational best practices. \nBasic understanding of networking, security, identity, access control, and distributed systems concepts. \nStrong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new cloud-native and open-source technologies. \nEffective communication and collaboration skills. \nPreferred Qualifications \nHands-on experience with Azure infrastructure and Azure services. \nExperience with Kubernetes, Istio, Kong, Conductor, or similar open-source platform technologies. \nExperience developing automation or tooling using C#, .NET, Go, Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar languages. \nExperience with infrastructure as code, deployment automation, GitOps, or CI/CD systems. \nExperience with observability tools and practices, including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and service health monitoring. \nExperience operating production infrastructure or participating in on-call support. \nInterest in contributing to open-source projects or prior experience committing to open-source repositories. \nExperience working with healthcare, data platforms, analytics platforms, or regulated environments. \nInterest in building reliable infrastructure that improves healthcare outcomes and helps save lives with
