We demonstrate our trustworthiness as stewards of health data through three foundational pillars: security, privacy, and compliance. \nIf you are interested in the opportunity to pursue purposeful work, join a mission-driven team, and build a rewarding career while having fun, Truveta may be the perfect fit for you.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, deploy, and operate high-quality software solutions and cloud-native services that support Truveta's mission and business objectives.\nBuild scalable applications, APIs, automation, and platform capabilities that improve engineering productivity, operational efficiency, security, and reliability.\nCollaborate with product, engineering, security, and business partners to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.\nParticipate in the full software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.\nApply modern software engineering practices including automated testing, CI/CD, observability, Infrastructure as Code, and secure development methodologies.\nLeverage AI-assisted engineering tools and emerging technologies to improve developer productivity, software quality, and operational effectiveness.\nTroubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions.\nContribute to architectural discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices across the organization.\nReview code and provide constructive feedback to promote maintainability, quality, security, and operational excellence.\nContinuously improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.\nStay current with evolving technologies, industry trends, and engineering best practices.\nParticipate in operational support and on-call rotations as needed.\nKey Qualifications \nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\n3+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software systems.\nStrong programming experience in one or more modern languages such as C#, Python, Go, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.\nExperience designing, developing, and supporting APIs, web services, or distributed systems.\nExperience building applications on modern cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.\nExperience with source control systems, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.\nStrong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.\nAbility to work independently, prioritize effectively, and drive projects from concept through delivery.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.\nPreferred Qualifications \nExperience developing cloud-native applications using serverless technologies, containers, or Kubernetes.\nExperience with Azure services such as Azure Functions, App Services, Storage, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), or Entra ID.\nExperience building automation, developer platforms, internal tools, or self-service engineering solutions.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.\nExperience implementing monitoring, observability, security, and operational best practices.\nExperience working in regulated, security-conscious, or compliance-driven environments.\nExperience using AI-assisted development tools, generative AI technologies, agent-based systems, or intelligent automation solutions.\nExperience contributing to technical design, architecture discussions, and cross-team engineering initiatives.\nWhy Truveta? \nBe a part of building something special. The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target. Pay is based on several factors including location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
