You will be given a problem and trusted to understand the customer need, identify the simplest effective solution and build it, with AI supporting a large part of the work.\nThis is not primarily a role focused on adding AI features to the product. It is an opportunity for a modern product engineer who knows how to use AI tools effectively across research, implementation, testing, refactoring and review.\nAbout the role\nAs an AI-Native Product Engineer, you will work closely with Product Management from the first idea through to a finished solution. You will explore the real problem behind a request, challenge assumptions and build solutions that are valuable for the people who use them.\nYou will join Truvio Commerce, our ecommerce, product information management and content management platform with deep ERP integration. The department consists of around 22 colleagues, including 12 developers and five Product Managers, working together to develop a product used by B2B and B2C companies to run their online business.\nClaude is our main AI tool and is already part of the team’s daily work. We know that software development is changing quickly, and we are looking for someone who is curious, experimental and willing to challenge how we work as we continue to learn.\nWhat you’ll do\nUnderstand the problem before you solve it. You work with Product Management from the first idea to the finished thing. You push to understand what the real problem is, and you find the simplest way to solve it for the user.\n\nBuild for real people. Someone out there uses this to do their job. You have the empathy to understand their day, see what annoys them, and make it better. You care about the whole user experience, not just whether the code runs.\n\nUse AI as your working environment, not as autocomplete. You want to move toward orchestrating several AI agents on different parts of a problem at once. Prompts, context, limits, checks - you build the setup that makes it reliable. Research, implementation, testing, refactoring, code review: if a machine does it well, let it. You still read the output critically. Generated code is not automatically correct code.\n\nWork across our stack. We build with C#, .NET, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and APIs. Frontend, backend, integrations, data - you go where the problem takes you.\n\nDecide what to automate and what to keep human. Not everything belongs to an agent. You work out where automation helps, where AI assists, and where a person should stay in control.\n\nHow you’ll work\nLook at what others in commerce and B2B software are doing. Look at how other companies solve the same problems. Bring it back and use it.\nYou don't need a research task. You need to be the kind of person who goes and looks.\nWhat we’re looking for\nWe are looking for a pragmatic and curious software engineer who cares about customer value and uses AI as a natural part of modern product development. You do not need to meet every requirement, but we believe you will bring several of the following:\nSolid professional experience building software\n\nUses AI development tools every day - prompting, context, agents, checking what comes out\n\nPragmatic.
