We were part of Y Combinator in 2021 and raised a $2M seed round shortly after.\nAbout the Role\nWe’re looking for an Senior Product Designer to help shape the next phase of Bree’s product. This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and impact. You’ll work end-to-end on core product surfaces across mobile and web, partnering closely with Product and Engineering to define problems, explore solutions, and ship meaningful improvements for our users.\nThis role focuses on thoughtful product judgment, clear decision-making, and delivering work that meaningfully improves outcomes for our users and the business.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn the end-to-end design for major product initiatives, from problem framing and discovery through execution and launch\n\nPartner deeply with different stakeholders including Engineers, CX, Business to turn ambiguous ideas into scoped, high-impact releases\n\nDesign intuitive, accessible experiences across Bree’s mobile and web products, with a strong focus on clarity, trust, and usability\n\nUse research, data, and direct customer feedback to inform decisions and iterate on solutions\n\nCreate and evolve user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that are ready to ship\n\nContribute to and help mature Bree’s design system, ensuring consistency while enabling fast iteration\n\nSweat the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture, balancing speed, quality, and impact\n\nAdvocate for our users, especially those navigating financial stress, by simplifying complexity and reducing friction\n\nCollaborate in design critiques and team rituals, and help raise the overall bar for design quality at Bree\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n3+ years of experience designing and shipping consumer digital products in fast-paced environments\n\nStrong end-to-end product design experience, spanning UX, interaction design, and visual design\n\nProven ability to work through ambiguity and make good decisions with incomplete information\n\nExcellent product thinking, with a clear sense of what matters most to users and the business\n\nExperience working closely with engineers and understanding technical constraints and tradeoffs\n\nStrong visual and interaction design skills, with an eye for simplicity, hierarchy, and polish\n\nComfort using data, analytics, and experimentation to validate and improve your work\n\nProficiency with modern design tools like Figma\n\nA portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful problem-solving, real shipped work, and impact\n\nWorking knowledge of front-end development concepts (e.g. components, state, APIs), and the ability to reason about implementation while designing\n\nNice to Have\nExperience designing fintech, lending, or other financial products\n\nFamiliarity with mobile-first products and React Native environments\n\nExperience contributing to or evolving a design system\n\nComfort “vibe coding” or prototyping in code when helpful, to explore ideas, validate interactions, or collaborate more
