This role loads, positions, punches, cuts, bends, and inspects busbar materials for dimensional accuracy and quality while maintaining accurate production, material usage, scrap, machine setting, and maintenance records. We show up for each other and we know that through teamwork we achieve greatness.\nChampion change - We know adaptation and improvement are requirements to survive and to thrive.\nEnjoy the journey - We create an environment where our team feels appreciated and has fun along the way.\nIn this role you will:\nSet up, calibrate, and operate busbar punching and bending equipment according to engineering drawings, specifications, and production requirements.\nDeburr edges off punch material using a stationary grinder\nLoad, position, punch, cut, and bend busbar materials accurately to required dimensions, hole patterns, angles, and sequences.\nInspect finished parts using appropriate measuring tools to verify dimensional accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications.\nMonitor production workflow, identify minor equipment or material issues, and make adjustments or escalate concerns as needed.\nMaintain accurate production, machine setting, material usage, scrap, and maintenance records.\nFollow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, SOPs, and company policies while operating equipment and handling materials.\nPartner with supervisors, engineers, quality personnel, and team members to support production targets, process improvements, and high-quality output.\nPerform other duties and projects as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical education or vocational training in machine operation, metalworking, or a related field preferred.\nMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience required; experience operating busbar punching and bending equipment or similar machinery preferred.\nMechanical aptitude with the ability to understand how manufacturing equipment works together to produce high-quality products.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process sheets, SOPs, and plant directives written in English.\nAbility to perform basic math, use measuring instruments, maintain accurate records, and account for materials and scrap.\nStrong attention to detail, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and effective communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment while following safety protocols and PPE requirements, including eye, hand, foot, and hearing protection.\nAble to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test and meet physical job requirements, including frequent standing, bending, reaching, and lifting or moving materials up to 50 pounds.\nSkills :\nMachine setup, calibration, and operation\nBlueprint and engineering drawing interpretation\nBusbar punching, cutting, bending, and material handling\nUse of precision measuring tools and basic math\nQuality inspection and dimensional verification\nProduction documentation, material tracking, and scrap reporting\nMechanical troubleshooting and equipment issue escalation\nSafety compliance, PPE use, and SOP adherence\nTeam collaboration, communication, and attention to detail\nTrystar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
