This role monitors inventory activity, analyzes trends, reviews system data, and partners with operations, finance, procurement, and production teams to identify discrepancies, reduce inventory costs, and improve inventory control processes. The Inventory Control Analyst also supports cycle counts, physical inventories, reporting, reconciliation, and corrective action efforts that improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.\nIn this role you will:\nMaintain accurate, organized inventory records and inventory locations to support production and distribution needs.\nPartner with the Controller to plan, lead, and monitor physical inventories, cycle counts, and related audits.\nUse inventory systems, reporting tools, and analysis to track inventory accuracy, material aging, and inventory-related trends.\nTrain material handlers and production associates on inventory control procedures, expectations, and best practices.\nDevelop and maintain inventory processes, location standards, and controls that support consistent and reliable inventory practices.\nInvestigate inventory discrepancies, determine root causes, and lead corrective action efforts to prevent recurring issues.\nSupport the Materials Manager by helping drive departmental goals, inventory initiatives, and broader organizational objectives.\nCollaborate with operations leaders and cross-functional partners to improve inventory workflows and create more efficient processes.\nMonitor obsolete, damaged, surplus, and non-working inventory and partner with finance and procurement on reconciliation and resolution.\nCoordinate with procurement and production teams to review material shortages and support timely resolution of supply constraints.\nOversee the disposition and disposal of surplus, scrap, and obsolete materials in alignment with business needs and internal controls.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\n3+ years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ERP system experience strongly preferred.\nAbility to frequently and repetitively lift items up to 50 lbs.\nAssociate or bachelor’s degree preferred.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and financial acumen, with the ability to identify issues and support corrective actions.\nHighly organized and able to manage priorities, competing demands, and tight deadlines.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.\nSkills:\nInventory control, cycle counting, physical inventory support, and inventory accuracy management.\nERP/MRP system use for inventory transactions, reporting, reconciliation, and material availability tracking.\nMicrosoft Excel and reporting skills to analyze inventory levels, material aging, discrepancies, trends, and corrective actions.\nRoot cause analysis, problem solving, and implementation of permanent corrective actions for inventory discrepancies.\nCross-functional collaboration with finance, procurement, production, materials, and operations teams.\nProcess improvement, standard work development, and inventory location control in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong organization, prioritization, communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced
