You’ll find that we’re also pushing boundaries across the country at our additional facilities in Troy, MI; Houston, TX; Merrimack, NH; Burnsville, MN; and Murfreesboro, TN.\nThe CNC Laser Cutter Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating CNC laser cutting equipment to produce quality metal parts according to customer specifications, production drawings, and work orders. We show up for each other, and we know that through teamwork we achieve greatness.\nChampion change - We know adaptation and improvement are requirements to survive and to thrive.\nEnjoy the journey - We create an environment where our team feels appreciated and has fun along the way.\nIn this role you will get to:\nOperate CNC laser cutting machines to cut sheet metal and plate according to specifications.\nSet up the laser cutter for different materials, thicknesses, and job requirements.\nLoad and unload raw materials using proper material-handling procedures.\nRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and CNC programs.\nVerify material type, thickness, dimensions, and quantity before production.\nMonitor the machine during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.\nInspect finished parts for proper dimensions, cut quality, and defects.\nUse measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.\nSort, label, and organize completed parts for the next production operation.\nPerform basic cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the laser equipment.\nReport machine problems, material issues, and quality concerns to the supervisor.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.\nFollow all company safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.\nMeet production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards.\nJob Requirements:\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\nBasic understanding of measuring tools and weld quality inspection.\nPrevious CNC laser cutting or metal fabrication experience preferred.\nAbility to read and understand blueprints and fabrication drawings.\nBasic knowledge of CNC machine operation.\nAbility to use measuring and inspection equipment.\nBasic computer and mathematical skills.\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to safely handle metal materials.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nReliable attendance and strong work ethic.\nWillingness to learn new equipment and production processes.\nSKILLS\nCNC laser machine operation\nBlueprint and technical drawing interpretation\nCNC program operation and basic adjustments\nSheet metal fabrication\nPrecision measurement\nQuality control and inspection\nMaterial identification and handling\nBasic machine troubleshooting\nAttention to detail\nTime management\nSafety awareness\nCommunication and teamwork\nAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nBenefits:\n401 (k) with company match\nMedical Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nDisability Insurance\nPTO\nPaid Holidays\nTrystar is an Equal Opportunity Employer and is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
