Together, we are Trystar, where we power the future and nurture innovation for a brighter tomorrow.\nTrystar’s team members are our most important asset, and we are in search of a Manufacturing Training Specialist based at our Faribault, Minnesota facility.\nReporting to the Quality Manager, the Manufacturing Training Specialist will play a critical role in developing, coordinating, and delivering manufacturing training programs that support safety, quality, productivity, and employee development. We show up for each other and we know that through teamwork we achieve greatness.\nChampion change - We know adaptation and improvement are requirements to survive and to thrive.\n Enjoy the journey - We create an environment where our team feels appreciated and has fun along the way.\nIn this role you will get to:\nCoordinate and facilitate onboarding and manufacturing training programs for new and existing team members. \nAssess training needs across manufacturing departments and develop structured learning paths that support operational excellence. \nWork with outside vendor to create training materials, work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and visual job aids. Update and maintain materials, instructions, SOPs and job aids, as needed.\nPartner with production supervisors, subject matter experts, Quality, and Safety teams to ensure training content remains accurate and effective. \nTrack and maintain training records, certifications, qualifications, and skills matrices to ensure compliance and workforce readiness. \nEvaluate training effectiveness through observation, assessments, feedback, and performance metrics, making improvements as needed. \nSupport cross-training initiatives and workforce development programs to increase flexibility, productivity, and employee growth opportunities. \nAssist with employee onboarding activities and ensure new team members are successfully integrated into operational and company culture expectations. \nSupport continuous improvement efforts by identifying skill gaps and recommending solutions that improve performance, quality, and safety outcomes. \nServe as a training resource for employees and leaders while promoting a positive learning culture throughout the organization.\nQualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred. \nMinimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, training, workforce development, operations, or a related field. \nExperience facilitating training programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment. \nStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. \nAbility to present information effectively to individuals and groups with varying levels of experience. \nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. \nExperience creating training materials, work instructions, and employee development resources. \nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams. \nAbility to analyze training effectiveness and maintain detailed training documentation. \nDemonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization. \nAbility to spend time on the manufacturing floor supporting and coaching employees. \nBilingual English/Spanish \nPreferred skills :\nExperience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).\nTrain-the-Trainer certification or adult learning experience.\nExperience developing skills matrices, qualification programs, and career progression pathways.\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement methodologies, or operational excellence initiatives.\nExperience supporting onboarding, employee engagement, and workforce development programs.\nFamiliarity with ISO, quality systems, or manufacturing compliance training requirements\nAdditional Information:\nPosition may require up to 10% travel.\nPosition is primarily onsite in a manufacturing environment.\nAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and move throughout production
