This position requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise and ability to drive performance.\nIn this role you will:\nPromote a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to safety policies, procedures, and regulations throughout the facility.\nConduct regular safety inspections, identify potential hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.\nOversee the day-to-day operations of the value stream leading and supervising a team of production workers, providing guidance, coaching, training, and support to ensure effective performance and adherence to production standards. \nFoster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and continuous learning.\nCoordinate with the production planning team to allocate resources, schedule jobs, and optimize production flow to achieve schedules ensuring on time delivery to our assembly lines and ultimately to our customers. \nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and efficiency.\nConduct regular tier accountability meetings with direct reports to set production expectations, communicate goals, objectives, production targets, and address any concerns or escalations needed to solve production issues.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, quality, planning, purchasing and maintenance, to resolve any production-related issues and ensure smooth operations.\nContinuously evaluate and improve manufacturing assembly processes, workflows, and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity while maintaining accurate production records and documentation, including production reports, quality control records, and ERP transactions.\nCollaborate with the human resources department to recruit, hire, and onboard new production personnel as needed.\nIdentify training needs, provide training opportunities, and develop talent within the team to enhance their skills and capabilities.\nProvide regular performance feedback to production team members and conduct performance evaluations as required ensuring team members understand their role & responsibilities.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training in manufacturing, operations, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.\nThree or more years of experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or operations environment.\nPrior experience leading, supervising, or coordinating production employees, shifts, work cells, or value streams preferred.\nWorking knowledge of safety requirements, quality standards, production schedules, and manufacturing documentation.\nExperience using ERP, manufacturing execution, inventory, or production reporting systems preferred.\nAbility to work assigned shifts and adapt to changing production demands, priorities, and business needs.\nSkills:\nStrong leadership and team development skills.\nAbility to coach, train, and hold production team members accountable.\nKnowledge of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and assembly processes.\nUnderstanding of safety practices, hazard identification, and regulatory compliance.\nAbility to monitor KPIs and use production data to improve performance.\nStrong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.\nAbility to coordinate labor, materials, schedules, and production priorities.\nEffective communication skills across production, quality, engineering, planning, purchasing, maintenance, and HR teams.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems, production records, and related documentation.\nContinuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify process improvements.\nAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nStrong conflict resolution, decision-making, and escalation management
