train, and develop catering staff.Manage staff attendance, productivity, discipline, and shift allocations.\nSupervise and actively assist with food preparation, cooking, plating, and service when required.\nEnsure food preparation, presentation, and service meet Tsebo Catering Solutions standards and quality requirements.\nMonitor portion control, food quality, stock usage, and wastage.\nImplement and maintain operational controls in line with site requirements.\nEnsure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and company policies and procedures.\nAddress day-to-day HR and IR matters, including performance management and staff development.\nAnalyse and respond proactively to client requirements, concerns, and potential complaints.\nCoordinate and manage catering functions and daily operational activities.\nConduct regular kitchen and dining area inspections to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.\nAssist with stock control, stock counts, receiving, storage, and stock rotation.\nComplete operational reports and required site documentation.\nBuild and maintain strong working relationships with clients and customers on a daily basis.\nStay informed of food industry trends and best practices to enhance service delivery.\nBe available to work extended hours, weekends, and public holidays when operationally required.\nWilling and able to work rotational day and night shifts.\nSkills and Competencies\nStrong leadership, communication, and team management skills.\nSound knowledge of catering operations, food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards.\nCustomer-focused with good client relationship and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to plan, organise, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\nComputer literate with basic reporting and administrative skills.\nHands-on approach with the ability to assist with food preparation, cooking, serving, stock control, and general kitchen operations.\nMinimum 2-3 years' supervisory experience within contract catering.\nQualifications\nNational Senior Certificate (Matric) \nRelevant qualification relating to Hospitality Management or Food and
