Instructors may be required to develop customized training curriculum and /or provide instruction for workforce development and industrial training clients.Essential Functions\nEmployee will demonstrate TSTC Core values of Excellence, Accountability, Service and Integrity with internal and external stakeholders, customers, students and members of the community.\nDevelop curriculum for a variety of educational projects including but not limited to continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.\nDeliver instruction for a variety of educational projects including but not limited to continuing education, apprenticeships, contract and industrial training, and other special training projects, as well as international programs.\nComplete documentation including grades, etc., as required by the supervisor.\nOther duties as assigned\nEducation/Experience/Knowledge/Skills\nCurrent LVN or RN license in the State of Texas, in good standing with the Texas Board of Nursing.\n\nMinimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, including at least one (1) year of experience primarily in a long-term care setting.\n\nExperience teaching, training, or supervising CNAs, nurse aides, or patient care technicians.\n\nAbility to deliver classroom, lab, and clinical instruction that meets Texas Nurse Aide Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) requirements.\n\nThis job description covers a position in which the percentage of time spent on the essential functions will vary based on the workload and will ultimately be determined by the supervisor.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nTexas State Technical College (TSTC), as an equal opportunity employer, complies with all applicable federal and state laws regarding nondiscrimination.
