This cross-function role will be responsible for resource, capacity, and program management for workforce training initiatives. The NCT PM will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of workforce training programs.Essential Functions\nResource Management:\nDevelop and implement resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient utilization of personnel, equipment, and materials.\n\nCollaborate with internal teams to identify and secure necessary resources, such as subject matter experts, trainers, training materials, and lab space.\n\nMonitor resource utilization and make adjustments as needed to meet project objectives and timelines.\n\nEvaluate resource performance and provide feedback to improve overall effectiveness.\n\nResource management includes curriculum development, instruction, and securing training space and equipment.\n\nCapacity Management:\nAssess the capacity and capability of the organization to deliver workforce training programs.\n\nIdentify gaps and develop strategies to enhance the organization's capacity, including identifying training needs and recommending professional development opportunities for faculty and subject matter experts.\n\nCollaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine the optimal program capacity and ensure the organization's resources align with demand.\n\nContinuously monitor and evaluate capacity utilization to maintain efficiency and effectiveness in program delivery.\n\nProgram Management:\nPlan, facilitate, execute, and manage all aspects of Student Learning resources used for workforce training programs, ensuring deliverables are on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.\n\nDevelop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.\n\nCoordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth development and execution of program activities.\n\nMonitor program progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful completion of project deliverables.\n\nMaintain effective communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, milestones, and outcomes.\n\nAdministrative Management:\n(position may be responsible for some or all of the following duties)\nMaintain project tracking system.\n\nMaintain and verify training records for accuracy.\n\nAssist in report preparation and responding to official inquiries.\n\nAssist faculty in obtaining industry-relevant certifications and credentials for the purpose of supporting workforce training.\n\nMaintain and submit SL Faculty workforce credentialing paperwork.\n\nSubmit Student Learning Faculty payroll for workforce activities.\n\nUse labor market data to determine occupations, job openings, skills, and salaries associated with a workforce project or program.\n\nMaintain the online repository for the curriculum developed for workforce training.\n\nPrepare training course/program package that will be distributed to employers.\n\nPerform project-related research\n\nEducation/Experience/Knowledge/Skills\nVerifiable and demonstrated experience required.\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nTexas State Technical College (TSTC), as an equal opportunity employer, complies with all applicable federal and state laws regarding nondiscrimination.
