Motiva is wholly owned by Aramco, one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.\nPosition Overview:\nThe Associate Equipment & Reliability Engineer - Production Team Support provides coordination and leadership within the Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex through project management, problem solving, small project execution, threat identification and risk assessment, engineering support to operations and maintenance, and turnaround support. Through this position, the individual will solicit, develop, and/or provide technical expertise in:\nStatic Equipment (Piping Systems, Pressure Vessels, Materials and Corrosion, and associated inspection techniques)\nRotating Equipment (pumps, compressors, support systems, seal plans)\nProject Management (problem solving, cost justification, scheduling, forecasting)\nThis role interfaces with most disciplines within the Complex, but primarily works with Engineering, Operations, Capital Projects, and Maintenance personnel.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the design and implementation of expense projects and small capital projects (< $2MM) related to Health, Safety, and Environmental threats, and Reliability threats within a Production Area.\nProvide Engineering support for reactive maintenance and unplanned work, as required.\nChampion Management of Change (MOC) by leading cross-discipline changes and providing guidance to engineering disciplines leading single discipline changes.\nLead and participate in both large and small-scale investigations focused on Health, Safety, Environmental, and Reliability Incidents.\nProvide Engineering support to the Turnaround Organization during the planning and scope development for upcoming turnarounds.\nProvide Engineering support during Turnaround Execution, including project support and reactive issues.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience:\nMust have a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline by December 2026\nCumulative 3.0 GPA, or higher\nExcellent organizational and planning skills\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills\nEffective communication with all levels of organization\nEffective teamwork in cross-functional situations\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering\n1-3 years of experience working in an Engineering or internship role\nProven leadership and/or participation in extracurricular activities \nPhysical Requirements:\nPhysical ability to work around and on industrial equipment, including frequent climbing of stairs and ladders\nAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, heeled boots, and hearing protection)\nWe reserve the right to amend or withdraw Motiva jobs at any time, including prior to the closing date.
