Motiva is wholly owned by Aramco, one of the world’s largest integrated energy and chemicals companies.\nPosition Overview:\nMotiva’s Port Arthur Manufacturing Complex is seeking skilled Electricians to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you will provide safe, reliable, and efficient electrical maintenance and troubleshooting support to our Refinery or Chemicals & Distribution facility. The Electrician is responsible for maintaining electrical systems and equipment to maximize reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.\nThis is a Department of Transportation (DOT) regulated position, and is subject to drug and alcohol testing in compliance with DOT regulations.\nResponsibilities:\nTroubleshoot, maintain, and repair low and medium-voltage electrical systems.\nDiagnose and repair electrical distribution systems, motor control centers, and switchgear equipment.\nInspect, test, troubleshoot, and replace industrial lighting systems and associated electrical components.\nUtilize voltmeters, amp meters, meggers, and other diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues.\nRead and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support maintenance and installation activities.\nSupport Lockout/Tagout activities and ensure safe isolation of energized equipment during maintenance work.\nComplete accurate and timely work order documentation and maintenance records within the plant’s computerized maintenance management system.\nAdhere to all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while collaborating with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support continuous plant operations.\nExperience and Qualifications:\nRequired Education and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent education\nTexas State issued Journeyman Electrical/Wireman License\nKnowledge of motor/starter circuitry\nAbility to read and understand wiring diagrams\nValid driver’s license\nMust currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card at time of hire\nPreferred Education and Experience:\nWorking knowledge of NFPA 70E/Arc-Flash\nPhysical Requirements:\nWilling and able to work outside in inclement weather with or without accommodation\nWilling and able to work in compact and confined spaces with or without accommodation\nMust be willing and able to work at heights, walk on high elevation grating and to walk up and down stairs with or without accommodation\nMotiva emphasizes safety in all phases of its business, therefore, with proper training, you must be willing to use safe lifting techniques to lift 50 pounds from the ground to waist level with or without accommodation\nMust be willing and able to work in self-contained breathing apparatus\nThis role is subject to a pre-hire physical abilities test.\nOther Requirements:\nMust be willing and able to work overtime, holidays, nights, and weekends\nMust be willing and able to be on call and meet callout standards to respond to site responsibilities and emergencies\nMust be willing and able to travel for offsite training when required\nMust support and comply with the company's drug free work environment, which will include random drug screenings\nMust support and comply with the company's harassment free work environment policy\nMust support and comply with the company's safety policies and initiatives\nMust support and comply with the company's diversity and inclusion work environment policies\nWe reserve the right to amend or withdraw Motiva jobs at any time, including prior to the closing date.
